
An Internet forum, often known as a message board, is a website where users can have discussions using posted messages.[1] Messages are frequently longer than one line of text and are at least briefly stored, which sets them apart from chat rooms. Additionally, a posted message might need to be approved by a moderator before it becomes publicly available depending on the access level of a user or the forum setup. A particular set of terminology is linked with forums; for instance, a single conversation is referred to as a "thread" or topic.
